The plugin retrieves reciter lists, surah information, and audio recitation links through the Quran.Foundation Content API, making it possible to integrate Quran recitations into your WordPress website.

How to Use

1. Install and activate the plugin on your WordPress website.
2. Configure your Quran.Foundation API credentials in the plugin settings.
3. Test the API connection to verify that the service is accessible.
4. Add the Quran Player Gutenberg block to a page, post, or supported widget area, or use the [quran_player] shortcode.
5. Save your changes and test the player.

Requirements

• WordPress 6.2 or later.
• PHP 7.4 or later.
• Valid Quran.Foundation API credentials and the appropriate content access permissions.
• An internet connection from your website’s server to the API service.

Important: Production API access may be required to retrieve the complete Quran. The pre-live environment is intended for testing and provides only Al-Fatihah and Al-Baqarah.
